UX/UI
The brand shouldn’t stop at the screen.
White and Salt is a UX/UI design agency for brands that care about how the experience feels, not just how it looks. We design digital experiences with the same clarity, character, and intention as the brand itself.
THE BRAND LOOKS RIGHT. THE EXPERIENCE DOESN'T.
The homepage is beautiful. The navigation makes you think.
The product is compelling. The checkout feels like work.
The app has everything it needs. Somehow, none of it feels obvious.
A digital experience can be visually perfect and still ask too much of the person using it.
That is usually where the work begins.
GOOD UX SHOULD FEEL LIKE NOTHING GOT IN THE WAY.
Brand strategy is the thinking beneath every decision.
We The best user experience is when people find what they came for. They understand what matters. They know what to do next.
Our approach to UX/UI design starts there. We look at the journey first, then shape the interface around it, bringing the brand's visual language into every decision along the way.
Because the experience is part of the brand. The hierarchy, the movement, the empty space, the moment something becomes clickable. It all says something.
Good UI makes the journey beautiful. Good UX makes it feel inevitable.
WHEN THE EXPERIENCE NEEDS TO CATCH UP
The brand is stronger than the digital experience.
Everything around the screen feels considered. The website or product is the one place where that feeling disappears.
The product has become harder to use as it has grown.
More features, more pages, more decisions. What once felt simple now asks the customer to work for it.
Something new is being built.
A new platform, app, or digital product needs more than a visual skin. The experience needs to make the idea clear from the first interaction.
The redesign keeps stopping at the surface.
A new homepage can make a site look different. It cannot fix a journey that was difficult to begin with.
OUR UX/UI DESIGN PROCESS
01 – FOLLOW THE PERSON
We start with the experience, not the interface. What brought someone here? What do they need to understand? Where should they go next? We map the moments that matter before we design them.
02 – GIVE THE EXPERIENCE A LANGUAGE
Once the structure is right, we bring in the visual system: typography, hierarchy, interaction, imagery, motion, and all the small decisions that make the interface unmistakably yours.
03 – REMOVE WHAT DOESN'T BELONG
We move through the experience again and look for friction. Too many choices. Too much explanation. One unnecessary step. The final pass is often less about adding something than knowing what to take away.
Design Is The Starting Point.
EVERY INTERACTION IS A BRAND TOUCHPOINT.
Navigation. Product discovery. Forms. Checkout. Mobile. Microcopy. Motion.
People see a brand as one continuous thing.
Our UI/UX design work sits close to the brand itself. The interface should have the same point of view as the packaging, the same restraint as the identity, the same clarity as the message.
Nothing should feel like it came from somewhere else.
Why White And Salt
-
A screen does not exist in isolation. We consider the brand, the business, the customer, and the moments between screens before deciding what belongs on one.
-
Good design is not decoration placed over a journey. The visual idea and the functional idea should make each other stronger.
-
Our user experience work grows from the same strategic thinking behind the brand, so the digital experience does not become a disconnected expression of it.
-
Not every interaction needs motion. Not every page needs another section. Not every choice needs to be presented. Restraint is part of the design.
MAKE THE EXPERIENCE FEEL LIKE THE BRAND.
A customer should not have to leave the brand to use the product.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
-
UX/UI design brings together how a digital experience works and how it appears on screen. UX considers the journey, structure, and ease of use. UI shapes the visual and interactive layer people actually see and touch.
-
Depending on the project, our UI and UX design services can include user flows, information architecture, wireframes, interface design, responsive layouts, design systems, and interaction direction.
-
UX is concerned with the experience as a whole: what someone needs to do, understand, and find. UI is the interface through which they do it. Good UI and UX design considers both at the same time.
-
Yes. Our work can extend across websites, e-commerce experiences, apps, and other digital products. The scope depends on where the brand needs the experience to work harder.
-
Yes. Sometimes the brand does not need to change at all. The journey simply needs to become clearer. We can review an existing experience, identify friction, and redesign the areas that are getting in the way.
-
Yes. Our UX design agency can work within an existing identity when the brand itself is already right. We translate what is already there into a more considered digital experience.
-
Yes. If the structure and user journey are already established, our UI design agency can focus on the interface, visual system, and interaction details needed to bring it to life.
-
Because the experience should not feel like the brand ended at the logo. Keeping strategy, identity, and UX/UI design connected creates a digital experience that feels like one world rather than several disciplines assembled together.
-
Absolutely. UX/UI can sit inside a broader website design project, alongside strategy, identity, copywriting, and development. The scope is shaped around what the experience actually needs.
-
Yes. We work with funded startups and established brands, particularly in beauty, wellness, fashion, and lifestyle, where the digital experience needs to carry as much character as the brand itself.
